We have been advised that ANOTHER application has been made for a wind farm on Horbling Fen.. Please note this is in ADDITION to the much larger wind farm planned by E.on. As yet no formal application has been made by E.On.
The new application is for two wind turbines on Horbling Fen. There is a 21 day period for representations which began on 25th June 2012. There are two Parish Council (PC) meetings THIS WEEK in Horbling and Billingborough as follows:
MONDAY 2nd July 2012 : Public Forum Section at 6.50pm

THURSDAY 5th July 2012 at 7.30pm
Horbling Parish Council 'Open Meeting'
Horbling Meeting Room
The Billingborough PC meeting is a regular meeting at which the Horbling Fen turbine application is on the agenda. Members of the public can raise any village issues at the Public Forum at 6.50 prior to the main meeting. There is no public right to speak during the main meeting. The Horbling PC meeting is a special public meeting called specifically to discuss the Horbling Fen turbine planning application.
Please attend either or both of the meetings if you are able to, and demonstrate your support for your villages. Please feel free to forward this email to anyone you believe would like to be kept informed of these events.
